Served eigtht years in the military as a Russian,Czech and German linguist

Participated in an  intense, humor-writing seminar conducted by Danny Simon,T.V.

sit-com writer and brother of playwright Neil Simon

Studied creative writing at Cal State and Rice University

Have travel extensively including a 2-week photo safari in Kenya,Africa,

a 2 week tall ship sailing cruise in the Caribbean, and a three week tour

of Ireland seeking information on realtives and ancestors, discovering that

those relations and distant cousins were mostly scoundrels and highwaymen.

My wife,Sandy, is president and CEO of the Houston chapter of the

national, non-profit organization,  Girls, Inc.

 

 

Personal Interests and Passions

Currently serving as Treasurer for the Woodlands Writers Guild

Semi-retired-  Houston, Texas resident. On a contract basis,write custom Crystal, SQL and Access reports for a variety of computer systems

 Enjoy humor of all sorts--voracious reader of books,magazines and recipes

Avid sports fan and equally avid poker player

Love movies, musical theater  and live dramas.

A good swim in the pool, a glass of wine , a good cigar and a challenging debate.
